What is an eVisa?

An eVisa, or electronic visa, is an official government document permitting a foreign national to enter a country. Unlike a paper visa, an eVisa is issued digitally, without a physical label in the bearer’s passport. Applying online is faster, more accessible, secure, and less expensive than applying for a paper visa.
